Nature house in Sos

Suitable for two to four people, this nature house has two bedrooms and one bathroom with walk-in shower. If you do prefer to take a bath, the hosts will simply set up the Jacuzzi for you in the garden! The garden is 5300 m² and used to be a vineyard. There is still one row of grapes and at the entrance to the property there is an old walnut tree. The cows occasionally come to see who is lying in the hammocks in the shade of the walnut tree! Pets are also welcome here, but the garden is not fenced and several neighbors' chickens regularly wander through the garden. The nature house is totally your home! The hosts do sit on the property and are of course always available for questions and tips. Privacy guaranteed! There is Dutch television via dish with about 24 Dutch channels and there is WiFi/ADSL internet.

The nature house is detached and located in the hamlet of Meylan, with about 40 inhabitants, and belongs to the town of Sos. On the border of the departments of Les Landes (40) and Le Gers (32) in the Lot et Garonne. The French also call this region the Tuscany of France. The bungalow is an excellent base for hiking and cycling vacations through the rolling countryside with forests, meadows, vineyards, sunflower fields, châteaus and picturesque villages and towns. The landlords have already printed out some beautiful walking and cycling routes for you. The bicycle specialist in Condom may rent mountain bikes and electric bikes. In France it is customary for people to eat hot lunch in one of the many restaurants. For about €14 you then have a menu of the day with about 1/4 liter of wine from the region. In the evening you can also eat out, but then the prices are higher. The nature house is also on the bridle path of Henri IV, King of France and Navarre from 1589 to 1610. You are also in the Côtes de Gascogne wine-growing region here. The classification Côtes de Gascogne refers to a Vin de Pays produced in the Armagnac region.
