The nature and surroundings are beautiful. The lovely garden is very large, has several patios (which are great!), and is fully fenced. That meant our little Houdini (a dachshund) could roam around to his heart’s content. The cottage is a bit dated (a tear in the couch “repaired” with tape, and the toilet doesn’t smell fresh anymore), but otherwise it’s fully equipped and just fine. The bed is comfortable. The only real downside for us were the two mini-campgrounds right next to both sides of the cottage (tents, RVs, cabins). We were particularly bothered by this on the weekends (kids playing soccer, lawn mowers, adults and kids in the stream with a dip net, a Jack Russell in the stream). The road is also very close by, and you can hear the traffic clearly. Fortunately, there wasn’t much traffic that week, and very few motorcyclists either. Overall, we had a great time.

Vooral in het weekend daar wat last van gehad (voetballende kinderen, grasmaaien, volwassenen en kinderen in het beekje met een schepnetje, een jack Russel in het beekje). De weg ligt ook erg dichtbij en verkeer is goed te horen. Gelukkig was er die week niet veel verkeer, ook zeer weinig motorrijders. We hebben het over het algemeen erg naar ons zin gehad.
