Nature house in Lierneux - Trou de Bra

A unique spot in the middle of the Belgian Ardennes. This idyllic nature house at the edge of the forest is located right on a peaceful stream. From the sitting area you have an unobstructed view of the stream with meadows and forest behind. Through a short dirt road you reach the driveway of the 1100 m² spacious plot with lots of privacy. The terraces and large lawn offer plenty of room to enjoy sun and shade. The cottage has a spacious porch and is all on one level. Through the dining room with dining area you enter the full kitchen and then into the cozy living room with a gas stove, a wood stove, two sofas, radio and television. The two bedrooms sleep four near the bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. With the linen package you get beds made and towels. On Sunday stay until 18.00 ! Fine for 2 adults and 2 kids but less suitable for 4 adults. Maximum one pet possible. Possibility of charging E-car (10 A)

In a secluded valley, the River Lienne flows between vast forests and meadows. You are in the middle of nature with wild boar, deer, owls and foxes as regular neighbors. But sometimes more rare animals can be seen, such as the fire salamander, beavers, fireflies, dippers and kingfishers. The plot is at an altitude of 300 meters and is located directly on an extensive network of varied hiking trails along meadows and streams, over hills and through forests. There are also plenty of activities available in the area, such as mountain biking, horseback riding, abseiling, canoeing, rafting and sometimes winter sports. For culinary enjoyment, Brasserie Le Relais des Pecheurs is three minutes away by car, and there are other dining options in numerous nearby villages. For an outing, consider Telecoo amusement park, the caves of Remouchamps, the Thermes of Spa and culinary Wallonia. Within 30 minutes you can drive to places of interest such as La Roche, Bastogne, Liege, Trois-Ponts, Stavelot, Spa or Malmedy. On the border with Luxembourg, modern shopping centers have opened where you can shop to your heart's content and fill up with cheap petrol; definitely worth a day out.
