Furthermore, it is a wonderful place from here to spot the birds, endless walks, go to various beaches and take a boat trip.Thanks to the flat landscape, this region is ideal for hiking, cycling or horseback riding. You can combine this with bird watching or with a stay at one of the reservoirs such as that of Alqueva, where you can enjoy the calm waters or admire the starry skies. But above all, do not forget the coastline of the Alentejo. There the landscape consists of high rocky cliffs sheltering small beaches, many of which are ideal for surfing. Here you will also find the sweet aromas of the fields, the delicious spicy smells with which fish, seafood and other regional dishes are prepared, served with an excellent wine from the region.
