Nature house in Hérémence

Pluses: nice view, quick on hiking trails, very spacious house, everything a house needs is there. Lady from rental office was very friendly and had waited until we arrived. Minuses: ski elevators nearby closed from August 20, garden not really cared for (thistles between patio tiles, bench weathered and full of splinters), house a bit outdated and several things broken (outside tiles falling off the wall, outside lights broken, shower doors that no longer close, light fixture inside broken, shower head not attached and leaking, varnish of kitchen table flaking off.
Cottage was unfortunately not thoroughly cleaned: edges of shower and bath doors were really dirty/dirty (black, mold), still a lot of dust under cabinets and under/behind beds (there were even toys and clothespins under the living room cabinet, there was still trash and even garment from previous tenant behind bed).

Pluspunten: een mooi uitzicht, snel op wandelpaden, erg ruime woning, alles wat een huis nodig heeft is aanwezig. Dame van verhuurkantoor was erg vriendelijk en had gewacht tot we gearriveerd waren.
Minpunten: skiliften in de buurt gesloten vanaf 20 augustus, tuin niet echt verzorgd (distels tussen terrastegels, zitbank verweerd en vol splinters), huis wat verouderd en verschillende zaken kapot (buitentegels die van de muur vallen, buitenverlichting die stuk is, douchedeuren die niet meer sluiten, lamparmatuur binnen die stuk is, douchekop die niet vastzit en lekt, vernis van keukentafel bladdert af.
Huisje was helaas niet grondig gepoetst: randen van douche- en baddeuren waren echt vuil/vies (zwart, schimmel), nog heel wat stof onder kasten en onder/achter bedden (er lag zelfs nog speelgoed en wasknijper onder de salonkast, er lag nog afval en zelfs kledingstuk van vorige huurder achter bed).

Beautiful location: the cottage is located at 2000m altitude and you have a beautiful view of the mountains, both visible inside and outside. Nearby were donkeys grazing, making typical cowbell sound from the mountains. Around it were still quite a few chalets located, so it is not really remote or located in full nature. Wel mooie locatie: het huisje is gelegen op 2000m hoogte en je hebt er een prachtig zicht op de bergen; dit zowel zichtbaar binnen als buiten.
Vlakbij waren ezels aan het grazen, waardoor typische koebel-geluid van in de bergen.
Rondom waren nog wel heel wat chalets gelegen; het is dus niet echt afgelegen of gelegen in volle natuur.
De chalet is gelegen in een skigebeid en is gelegen aan een gewone kleine autoweg. De chalet is gelegen in een kleiner dorp.

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery 100%.
The cottage was also very pleasant to stay in. Ideally located.270 degree mountains all around us. From us the vacation could have been longer.

We genoten met de volle 100% van het prachtige landschap.
Het huisje was ook zeer aangenaam om in te verblijven. Ideaal gelegen.270 graden bergen rondom ons. Van ons mocht de vakantie langer duren.

Characteristic wooden furnishings. Lovely sauna. And especially a very cozy dining area with mountain views.

Karakteristieke houten inrichting. Heerlijke sauna. En vooral een heel gezellige eethoek met uitzicht op de bergen.

Of unimaginable beauty. Especially in the morning, sitting on the bench in front of the house and looking across the valley in front of you.

Van een onvoorstelbare schoonheid. Vooral in de ochtend, zittend op het bankje voor het huis en kijkend over het dal voor je.
