Nature house in Goujounac

The naturehouse is newly built in 2013/14, almost completely level and with wide doors, the same natural stone floor throughout the house with underfloor heating. The site is almost 8,000 m2, fully fenced with a fence 1.5 meters high and equipped with an electrically operated entrance so privacy is guaranteed. At entrance level you acces through the hall to the large L-shaped living room with two sofas, two armchairs, smart TVs with satellite TV (Canal Digital), wood burner, dining table with 6 chairs and an open kitchen with all appliances. Left of the hall are the master bedroom (2x90x210), bathroom with walk in shower, double wash basins and WC, laundry room with washing machine and separate WC. From the living room as well as the bedroom you have acces to the spacious covered terrace via French doors. A staircase brings you to the mezzanine level with cosy seating area and library. The stairs going down bring you to a spacious hall way leading to the two other bedrooms, of which one has a sofa bed (140x190) and kitchen unit. The other room has a double bed (180x200) with two separate mattresses and adjustable slatted bed base. On this floor is also a spacious bathroom with walk in shower and double wash basin, and a separate WC.

This naturehouse is located just outside the picturesque, largely restored village Goujounac. In the area you can enjoy walking across the fields and through the chestnut groves. Within walking distance is the local camp site with eatery and swimming pool, Hostellerie de Goujounac with good restaurant, and an auberge ' La Poule au Pot 'serving delicious regional dishes. The river Lot, where you can rent canoes or let your dog go for a swim, is only a 15 minute drive away. The nearby village of Frayssinet du Gelat has a beautiful recreational lake, so have the villages Cassagnes, Cazals and Catus. Apart from in Catus, is it allowed to let dogs swim int he lakes. Walking is very popular in the whole region (Bouriane) and along the river Lot is beautiful cycling route. There are numerous medieval villages and towns to visit in the area such as St. Circ Lapopie, Rocamadour, Sarlat, Domme, Penne d'Agenais etc. In season there are several ' marches gourmandes' (evening markets) and 'vide-greniers' (flea markets) which are fun to visit.
