Our nature house is hidden in the woods - not on a vacation park - near Epe and Emst, North Veluwe. It is a cozy cottage for four people surrounded by 2400 m² unfenced garden. The nature house is fully equipped and newly and ecologically built in 2013. The cottage has a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds. On the loft in the living room there are mattresses to lounge or sleep on. There is an open kitchen with fridge and combi oven, a shower with toilet and sink, Wifi and a large covered terrace. Directly from our cottage you can take long and short walks and bike rides. Through meadows, the forest and to the moor, without having to cross a freeway. In the Crown Estate Het Loo near Gortel, encountering a wild boar, fox or red deer is not a rarity, but exciting every time. The "yellow-pole walk" is our favorite. There are several 'Klompenpaden' in the immediate vicinity and a bike ride to the IJssel is definitely worthwhile. With as an encore the bicycle ferry to the other side. There is a beautiful 'green-pole walk' across the Tongeren heath with beautiful views. Within cycling distance you can swim at the Kievitsveld or go to the sauna 'De Veluwse bron'. As well as a visit to Cannenburgh Castle in Vaassen or Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn. The Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zwolle are a nice trip.
