In the middle of the beautiful nature reserve Westerwolde, stands in the yard of the B&B Farm, next to a wooded area, this attractively furnished nature house (mobile homes / tiny house) with a 2-pers.bed and a crib (up to 4 years). The nature house offers a lot of privacy and has an unobstructed view of the farmlands and forests. You share the bathroom (a short walk away) with the other mobile homes. The barn has been converted into a cosy breakfast room with wood stove. The delicious ecological breakfast (if booked) is made as much as possible with own and regional products. Pipowagen Lidewei has its own fire basket; in the forest you can gather wood and crush it on a chopping block. How wonderful to enjoy the serenity with a glass of wine in the easy chair! Pasture and horse stable are available, so you can bring your own horse. There are also a flock of sheep (Drenthe Heath Sheep, about 20 head), chickens and three cats. The sheep graze in the pasture and are happy to keep you company.
Nature and surroundings
Walking with the ponies is also possible. Here you can enjoy the wide views over the farmlands and forests. Westerwolde is a unique region with a variety of natural beauty. This area is also called the Drenthe of Groningen. Nearby are the valley of the Ruiten Aa, the Noaberpad, Gasterij Natuurlijk Smeerling and the fortified town of Bourtange. You can enjoy here, walking, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing, horseback riding, and so on. The mountain bike network of more than 200 kilometers in length is among the longest in the Netherlands! The network consists of five individual mountain bike routes that are interconnected. The Westerwoldepad runs along the B&B. There are many hiking and cycling routes in the area.

The mobile homes are well equipped with a good double bed, kitchenette and dining area. You can sit outside in front of the wagon and eat with a view of the sheep.
The hostess is warm, very caring and hospitable and serves an excellent breakfast at the mobile homes or, if the weather is not so good, in the converted barn, where you eat with other guests. She respects your privacy. There were also good bikes for us to rent, with which we made a nice bike ride in the area.
The mobile homes are not large and for showering and toilets you have to go to another room. That reminded us a little too much of camping, an activity we left behind a long time ago. Nevertheless, it was a nice place to stay.
Lovely quiet place in the backyard of a farm overlooking a sheep pasture. You are a little way from the main road to Vlagtwedde, so you hear little traffic noise. Next to the sheep pasture is a piece of uncultivated land with a so-called musing path, where you can also see many birds.
