This nature house is located on a small vacation park at the foot of the Pyrenees. This attached spacious house has three bedrooms and a bathroom, a living room with an open kitchen. This vacation spot is located on a French domaine with other nature houses on approximately 1 acre of grass and surrounding blackberry bushes. On the property you will find walnut, cherry, plum and fig trees. There is also a lovely heated swimming pool with sun beds. It is a saltwater pool so there is very little chlorine in the water. The view from this nature house is impressive and overlooks the chain of the Pyrenees, with Pic du Midi in sight. The domaine is located in a small village in the French countryside. 300 inhabitants have the village of Mascaras. There are also many bird species flying around the garden, including the red and black Wow, the green woodpecker, wagtails and Nile herons. There are also many lizards walking around the cottage, and early morning wild bunnies.
Nature and surroundings
Mascaras is a small village of about 300 inhabitants located in the Midi Pyrenees in southern France in the French countryside. The village is about 25 kilometers from Lourdes the pilgrimage site. Toulouse at 120 km, about 50 km from the Spanish border and about 1280 kilometers from the Netherlands. The domaine is within walking distance (8 minutes) of a bistro where you can eat well. A supermarket is in the small village of Tournay or in the town of Tarbes 9 km away, every Thursday morning the meeting place of the area at the lively large weekly market. An ideal area for hikers, hiking books/tips are available. Also as a back carrier for the little ones to enjoy the beautiful Pyrenees. Cycling is also possible, maps for mountain bike routes available. Several golf courses, tennis courts and opportunities for horseback riding are within a radius of 10 kilometers.
