Surrounded by lush greenery and with impressive interiors, this lovely 3-bedroom holiday home in Monceau-en-Ardenne can house 7 people. Ideal for a family wanting to get away from the hustle-bustle of city life, it features a terrace apart from the fenced garden. You can explore both the Belgian and French sides of this region since the border is only about twenty kilometres down the road. Charleville-Mézières and Sedan are some of the towns in the area worth visiting. The holiday home features a terrace with garden furniture where you can enjoy the meals in shade. There is also a living cum dining room and an open kitchen, where you can cook, eat and enjoy together. A washing machine is also there for your convenience. The table tennis table in the recreation room keeps you engaged. Barbecue facility is also available so that you can have grilled dinners. Cot and high chair are available for the comfort of families with kids.

Gezellige woning, rustig gelegen. De baan die naast het huis loopt stoort niet o.w.v. de hogere ligging en afscherming van het huis.
Veel wandelmogelijlheden in de omgeving. Groene en gevarieerde natuur. Niet te veel andere wandelaars.

De houtkachel moest voor de warmte zorgen want de gaskachels werken niet meer. In de badkamers is elektrisch kacheltje aanwezig. Het was niet zo koud dus wij hebben geen problemen gehad.
Het was er lekker rustig. Er loopt wel een weg langs, maar daar heb je weinig last van.

Wij konden het niet goed vinden ondanks navigatie, Tomtom en Google Maps. Een beschrijving meesturen met de bevestiging zou helpend zijn. In tegenstelling tot de verstrekte informatie spreekt de beheerster geen woord Nederlands, ook geen Engels.
Fijn, dat de beheerster de houtkachel al had aangestookt vóór we arriveerden want het huisje was tamelijk koud en het lukte ons niet om de gaskacheltjes aan te krijgen.
De ligging naast de doorgaande weg (niet druk) is jammer.
Qua grootte en indeling was het prima voor ons gezelschap van 5 volwassenen. Handig dat er 2 badkamers zijn.Omgeving Bouillon is prachtig, We hebben mooie wandelingen gemaakt en een dagje gekanoëd (wel druk op de Semois in het Hemelvaartweekend).
