This former Ardennes farmhouse (mid-19th century) sleeps 8 + baby. The accommodation is located in one part of the farmhouse. The other part is sometimes used by the owner as a vacation home. The two living areas are completely separate and have their own entrance. The house is ideal for families with children. In the garden (4200 m² with bowling green), there's play equipment including swings, a slide, a cable car and a trampoline. There's a large games room with a pool table and table soccer. The house has two bathrooms, one with bath, shower and WC and the other with shower and WC. Because of the quietness, the Ardennes vacation home is not rented to groups of people who want to party or make noise. Peace and quiet must be maintained at all times. In winter, additional heating costs (gas) must be taken into account.
Nature and surroundings
The farmhouse is located in the hamlet of Lavaux, on the Côte de Wanne (famous and infamous for cycling enthusiasts, no doubt) and is right on the edge of a forest. This Ardennes vacation home offers panoramic views over the Salm valley. From the terrace, you can overlook a forested area on the other side of the valley. From here, you can descend into the beautiful valley of the little river Lienne. In short, an ideal region for hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. The nearby Amblève river offers plenty of opportunities for canoeing and kayaking. Puzzle Planet, the COO waterfalls, Plopsaland, swimming pools and the Francorchamps racetrack are less than eight kilometers away. Cities such as Aachen, Maastricht, Trier, Luxembourg and Liège can be reached by car within an hour.
