Nature house in Ouroux-en-Morvan

This nature house is a farmhouse completely refurbished in the old style. The farmhouse offers plenty of space inside. It is detached and completely fenced with 1.2 acres of its own land. Part of this is used by the farmer who sometimes also lets his cows and calves graze on it. The vacation farm has a spacious terrace at the front and three terraces at the back of the farm. where you can sit with an unobstructed view of the beautiful nature reserve. Under the large canopy (about 45 m²) is the morning breakfast at the large dining table and the sitting area gives the feeling that you're still sitting outside. In the evening enjoy under the canopy of the fireplace, good with a glass of wine there. Or after a long walk first enjoy the infra red sauna. Batenborg offers it all. But children can also enjoy the freedom of nature. Everything is fenced off, so also safe. Also for your dog it is a small paradise.

In the heart of Burgundy lies the protected nature reserve Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan. It is an old granite mountain range, between 400 and 900 meters high. For hikers, the very extensive forests and fields, many springs, streams and lakes offer an ideal "soft walking region" with surprising places. Fishing enthusiasts are also in for a treat. The wild landscape there has its own charm, a horizon that ends and begins again and again. Take your time to enjoy the ever-changing landscape, where the white cows of the Charolais breed feel at home. You will find birds of prey such as buzzard, harrier, red kite and even the osprey, not to mention the dozens of species of songbirds.The farm is situated between two large reservoirs, Lac de Setton and Lac de Panniecere. You can hike endlessly and fish along the shores of these lakes. The Haut Folin with its 901 meters is the highest point of the region. So also a nice challenge to climb this peak. In addition, the Morvan has a rich history and so the culture gives enough ingredients to make it a fantastic vacation. Our vacation farm is located there in the beautiful Parc Naturel Regional du Morvan in Burgundy with a beautiful unspoiled nature, with around us the atmosphere of real farm life.
