Nature house in Morgedal

Only in the period May to September to book! Beautiful nature house on a lake, with lots of forest around the house. When you come off the boat in Norway, the silence and space already overwhelms you, but when you arrive in Morgedal, you are at once at home in the village where modern skiing was born. Every Norwegian therefore knows the town of Morgedal as "skyvogge" - or the cradle of skiing. 's. In front of the nature house is a large lake, where you can fish without a license and where you can take a refreshing dip to wake up. All amenities are available in the nature house and in the village within walking distance you will find a swimming pool and ski museum. The nature house is ideal for 4 adults and two children. In recent years we have made it a nice warm house again by renovating and are happy to share this with others. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as we do :-)

Norway is nature, so when you walk onto the porch, you are already really outside. Several seating areas have been created on the veranda where you can sit in both shade and sun. By mountain bike or jogging, you can exercise within five minutes completely alone in the forest, walking to silence. For bigger tours you can go to Lårdalsstigen, Hardangervidda or Setesdal. Further options for multi-day trips are Bø Sommerland (water park with kids in summer), Skimuseum Morgedal, Rauland Skisenter, Eidfjord stavkirkje, Ulefoss, Oslo (two hours), Haukelisaeter fjellstua (1.30 hours), Rjukan (1.15 hours), Odda (three hours) or Lysebotn (three hours). The tough ones among us can saw and split wood themselves (at their own risk). In the parking lot there is unprocessed wood that can be sawed and split.
