Nature house in Benayes

On a private property of 2,400 m² surrounded by nature and only accessible via a servitude road, hidden in the greenery are a small, cozy nature house and an old barn. The nature house faces south and enjoys the sun all day long. The large south-facing terrace is a wonderful place to relax. The owners have tried to make the cottage and the barn as cozy as possible. Two sleeping places in the cottage and six in the barn.In the barn you sleep "high and dry" on the specially provided sleeping platforms.It is romantic sleeping under the safe mosquito net (mosquito nets).... Although you feel completely alone, five kilometers away you have the village of Meuzac with a bakery, butcher and small supermarket.Near Meuzac and in St Germain Les Belles and in Masseret La Gare you have (in summer) three guarded swimming lakes and just outside the village of Meuzac you have a second and larger lake where you can even (learn to) water ski. Enjoy the tranquility and the unique location.

From the nature house you look straight at the castle of Forsac (three kilometers away). In between, nothing but vast forests and meadows, where the famous Limousin cows graze.The nature house is located just in the middle between the lively cities of Limoges and Brives (at 40 kilometers) and 120 kilometers from Sarlat (where you should not miss the tourist Saturday market).Collogne la Rouge is probably one of the most beautiful French villages (at 80 kilometers), definitely worth a visit. Delicious French cuisine can be found in the restaurant in Meuzac (at the waterski lake). Also delicious and a lot cheaper you eat in the restaurant at the campsite in St. Germain les Belles (run by a Dutch couple) overlooking a beautiful (swimming) lake. You can make beautiful bike rides (enough gears are desirable, because it is sometimes quite a climb).
