This nature house is on a small 10-hectare property in the middle of the French countryside. It consists of a farm with a cottage and a small campsite. This nature house is separate from the campsite and can accommodate four to five people. The cottage is the former stable and has been completely renovated and modernized. It has a living room/kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. A boiler provides hot water to the shower in the ground-floor bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with two single beds and a linen closet and one bedroom with a bunk bed. That bunk bed has an under-row bed which can also be pulled out for a fifth person. The mattresses are of excellent quality. The beds are made upon arrival. There is a second toilet on the bedroom floor. The owners provide table d'hôtes for the guests if there is demand.
Nature and surroundings
The Bourbonnais is characterized by small-scale cattle breeding and forestry. The meadows are bordered by ancient hedges (the bocage). In the meadows, cows of the Charolais breed ruminate dreamily with their calves and the bull. The woods are numerous and freely accessible to the public. The main attraction is the famous "Forêt de Troncais". An ancient oak forest. The Auvergne is characterized by a mild climate with a stable and sunny weather. So at the foot of the Massif Central, the environment is rolling and gently sloping. The many small medieval villages and the hedges make the Allier a charming area. Time seems to have stood still there. Birds of prey, hedgehogs, deer, wild boar and foxes feel at home in the woods. There are several hiking trails for enthusiasts. You will be amazed by the peace and space. You can swim in one of the swimming lakes or in our swimming pool.

Fijne Gite in Frans landelijke stijl op het platteland. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en beschikbaar voor vragen en advies. De Gite heeft een eigen achtertuin met prachtig uitzicht op de vallei en grazende paarden. De eigenaren houden paarden, kippen en hebben twee honden, ook is er een klein zwembad, schommel en trampoline, waardoor er voor ons 3-jarige kind genoeg te zien en te beleven was. Absoluut een aanrader.
Open, wijd uitgestrekte, groene velden.

Prima huisje aardige gastheer en gastvrouw. Eenvoudig maar volledig.
Mooie weilanden en prachtige bossen in de omgeving. Perfect om te wandelen.
