The nature house is a “fermette” that’s over 400 years old, located near the village of Darbres in the Ardèche. The house features a living-dining room measuring over 55 m², which, like the kitchen, is fully furnished. On the upper floor, accessible via the loft, there is a large bedroom with a double bed, a crib, and a sink. There is also another bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. An outdoor staircase leads to the “pigeonnier.” This former dovecote has been converted into a cozy bedroom with a single bed and sink downstairs. Upstairs, there is another double bed.
Nature and surroundings

A small river runs along the property, perfect for cooling off in the summer. The nature house is situated in a protected nature reserve with excellent hiking and biking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. More tourist destinations, historic towns, and active outings are available in the immediate vicinity or within a few dozen minutes’ drive. A lovely little cottage surrounded by beautiful nature. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the wonderful walks, and the charming villages nearby. The only thing is that crossing that narrow little bridge is always a bit nerve-wracking!
Heerlijk huisje midden in de mooie natuur. Wij hebben genoten van de rust, de prachtige wandelingen en de gezellige dorpjes in de buurt. Alleen het smalle bruggetje dat je over moet, blijft elke keer weer een spannend moment!
