Nature house in Amoreiras-Gare

When you open the door, everything is there! The cozy nature house is in the middle of nature, with a beautiful view over the hills, the smell of aromatic plants and the peace and sounds of nature. The little apartment has a private terrace, a kitchenette, a private bathroom with shower and toilet and a sleeping loft with double bed. For the fresher nights in winter there is a cozy wood stove. You can enjoy nature here all year round, with each season having its own charms. The traditional Alentejan farmhouse is made of taipa (rammed earth), which keeps it warm in winter and cool in summer. The farm is the center of an 8.5 hectare nature reserve, where all the different trees, shrubs and plants have space to grow and flourish.

The Southwest Alentejo between Odemira and Ourique is a region of great variety: the coast with particularly beautiful beaches, such as Villa Nova de Milfontes and Zambujeira do Mar, plateaus, hills and valleys, cork oaks, olive groves, small white villages and, above all, lots of sunshine. It is a wonderful place for enjoying all that nature has to offer us. The wonderful smells, the silence, the gigantic starry sky, the special birds.... You can take endless walks right from the cottage, but there are also beautiful hiking trails in other locations in the area. You can visit beautiful beaches on the west coast, see small white villages, mountain biking, take the train to Lisbon (1.5 hours), have a good conversation or ... just do nothing ! To the village of Amoreiras-Gare is about 40 minutes walk. There are several restaurants where you can enjoy a Portuguese meal or a glass of wine on the terrace.
