Nature house in Ouroux-en-Morvan

You walk from the nature house within minutes into the nature of the Morvan, one of the older nature reserves of France. The Morvan is about 750 kilometers from Utrecht. The house is often described by guests as cozy, atmospheric and authentic. It has been renovated, but the old beams and thick walls provide a warm atmosphere. All modern amenities are available. The house is in a small hamlet, away from mass tourism. You will find absolute peace and privacy here. The enclosed garden has several terraces, where you can sunbathe and in the evening enjoy the barbecue.On the second floor you will find two completely modernized bedrooms. On the landing, the landlords have set up a small library, with books/naspectories on birds, butterflies, flowers, insects and reptiles. Still free: after Sept. 26 , including fall break. Contactless stay possible. In the immediate vicinity of this nature house are extensive hiking and cycling tours possible. The maps are waiting for you.You can wander in the area for hours in forests without meeting other people. The village is located between two large lakes , where you can practice all kinds of water sports: fishing, swimming, canoeing, sailing. Visiting tips: Saulieu, Avallon and Veselay are towns with medieval accents. Famous are the excavations in Bribracte and the ancient Celtic settlement near Autun. From the cottage you can observe birds : black titmouse, chickadee, chaffinch, bullfinch and nuthatch. In the garden and in the sky; green woodpecker, great thrush and the buzzard flying jauntily around. Near the house, deer and a fox are seen almost daily.
