Note: You can stay with a maximum of 12/13 people. Different periods are possible on request. Saturday is not a changeover day. Surrounded by greenery you will find this beautiful nature house. On the terrace facing west is the entrance where you can dine, the evening sun shines through here for a long time. The nature house has a spacious living room with wood stove. The kitchen is modern with a view over the sink to the green outside. At the long table you can eat together. The garden is surrounded by greenery, ensuring privacy. The terrace faces south and can be accessed through sliding doors in the living room. For children there is a large trampoline and a playground with swings and a slide. In addition, in the garden you will find several places to explore. The jacuzzi is located a few meters from the terrace, next to a forest of meters-high bamboo. The residence is wheelchair accessible. High-low bed and/or stand-up chair available on request.
Nature and surroundings
The historic village, centered on the Bonifatius Church, was formed 900 years ago on the sand ridges between the rivers Linde and Tjonger. The old village center, thanks in part to its beautiful trees, evokes nostalgic feelings. Due to its authentic character, the past still seems to be present. The village has several events, such as the Frisian Regional Market (May through October) and the Spring Fair. There is also the Open Stal art route. The Open Stal is a route organized during four weeks in July and August in Oldeberkoop. The route can be visited daily from 1 to 6 p.m. There are also the well-known nature reserves the National Park Drents-Friese Wold, National Park Weerribben-Wieden, National Park Dwingelderveld and National Park Drentsche Aa, where you can walk freely and enjoy everything nature gives us. Also several nature reserves of Staatsbosbeheer are nearby, such as Oranjewoud, De Deelen, Rottige Meente, Friese Wouden and Southwest Drenthe.
