The surroundings are a delight for nature lovers. We were there in June and saw so many flowers, birds, and butterflies that we no longer see in the Netherlands. You can go on endless walks, right from the cottage but also throughout the region. You do have to take the time to drive to other places, though. The nearest village, with a small shop and a really nice bar, is still more than half an hour’s drive away. A unique and incredibly thoughtful touch is that the owner makes his Panda 4x4 available to guests. For us, too, the drive to the cottage in our own car was a bit challenging.
The owner and his girlfriend will happily tell you all about the region, its attractions, and their experiences there. They’re enthusiastic, dedicated people who’ll definitely give you the peace and space you need to enjoy your vacation. We really appreciated their company and the pizza we shared.
