There is a 3-2m pool(June to October)lake&beach nearby,garden where you can pick garden herbs and seasonal fruits. There are 4 Promountainbikes free to use and it is 45min drive to Faro airport. Lisbon 3h, Seville 1,5h. The landlords have put a lot of love&attention into finishing this house and estate resulting in a beautiful&comfortable home. It is surrounded by wild Mediterranean nature. At the bottom of the garden flows a river where birds,frogs,fish and turtles live. The cottage is a place with peace,light,warmth,space and comfort,this makes it a wonderful hiking and mountain biking area. A seasonal restaurant&honey within walking distance.There is a SmartTV Stereo WIFI & satelite & dvd movies&cd's&books. privateParking on site and EV free charging of our solar panels.
Nature and surroundings
The immediate surroundings of the nature house are home to birds, bees, crickets and frogs, chameleons, salamanders, goats, butterflies and the occasional fox, mongoose or snake. Sandy beaches, laid-back Mediterranean day and night life, cafes and restaurants are not far away. The medieval town of Tavira has museums, galleries, arts and crafts markets, music, theater, movie house, small festivals and the island/nature reserve Ria Formosa. The Algarve is a region of traditional regional customs and ecosystems. The combination of blue sky, warm sun, fragrant herbs,crickets,frogs and birdsong give these hills that southern, Mediterranean feel. The southern coastal area has many beautiful, long sandy beaches with calm waters. Much of the year it is fantastic hiking, you can go in all directions here. In the summer, hiking is more suitable until 11 a.m. and after 5 in the evening. Go explore the hills on our bikes or eat at the restaurant nearby.
