Nature house in SAINT MELANY

In a small and charming mountain village in the Drobie Valley, this recently restored natural stone ruralhut is situated. On the ground floor of the ruralhut you have a hallway and access to two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and toilet. Moving on to the first floor, there is a spacious living room, comfortable open kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. The patio doors give you access to the terrace of 60 m² with pergola, garden furniture, plancha, and garden view. There is a bedroom above the living room. Wi-Fi is available.

The Valley of the Drobie Valley has preserved almost all of its authenticity. In this area you will find both the Mediterranean olive trees, as well as the Cevenol chestnut tree. The terracing of land has mostly been preserved throughout the centuries. It is also a wild and unspoilt nature area. You can swim in the Drobie or in other rivers. You can also make the most beautiful hikes in the area, with over 500 kilometers of known trails for both experienced and inexperienced hikers. It is also possible to go fishing, cycling, climbing, horse riding, cave exploring, or to canoe on the Ardeche or Chassezac. There is a cafe/restaurant in the village where you can daily order fresh bread. A small market is held every Sunday morning, where you can buy local fresh produce such as goat cheese, honey, bio pork, and bio vegetables. You can find supermarkets in Joyeuse (20 kilometers).
