Beautiful and quiet cottage, fully equipped with all amenities, homely atmosphere.

Prachtig en rustig gelegen huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien.

The pictures don't do this cottage justice. We were there in the summer, and it was really lovely, with lots of sunny weather. In the large garden you can sit and eat overlooking beautiful fields. The interior is in the local classical style. Don't let this put you off if you like modern/minimalist. In real life it is not as busy as it comes across. And being in a different style for a vacation is just as fun. It is an old cottage, and thus historically created. Not everything is in a place where you immediately expect it. But the cottage has everything you need. The shower is a little cramped, but adequate.

De foto's doen dit huisje tekort. Wij waren er in de zomer, en het was er echt heerlijk, met veel zonnig weer. In de grote tuin kan je heerlijk zitten en eten met uitzicht over mooie velden. Het interieur is in de lokale klassieke stijl. Laat dit je niet afschrikken als je van modern/minimalistisch houdt. In het echt is het niet zo druk als het overkomt. En voor een vakantie in een andere stijl zitten, is juist ook leuk. Het is een oud huisje, en daarmee historisch ontstaan. Niet alles is op een plek waar je het direct verwacht. Maar het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. De douche is wat krap, maar voldoet.

In this environment, you will relax wonderfully. You can do activities in the area according to your needs. The area does not overload you with things you must do, and yet you can do quite a few things. Especially if you are willing to drive a little bit. Quite a few activities are within fifteen minutes, some up to an hour away. The island of Hjarnø, the Glud Museum, and the Ferguson Museum are fun and nearby. Everything in the area is relaxed. Only Juelsminde was really busy. We took a walk every evening, from 2 to 4km. With often a bit along the coast as well. The narrow pebble beach is pristine. You can find beautiful shells and streams to jump over. The wheat fields and evening sun over the water are really soothing. We saw quite a few deer, and even a badger and a fox together. The area is rural, with stretches and strips of nature in it.

In deze omgeving kom je heerlijk tot rust. Je kan activiteiten in de omgeving ondernemen, afgestemd op je behoefte daaraan. De omgeving overlaadt je niet met dingen die je móét doen, en toch kan je best wat dingen ondernemen. Zeker als je ook bereid bent er een stukje voor te autorijden. Aardig wat activiteiten liggen binnen een kwartier, sommige tot een uur weg. Het eiland Hjarnø, het Glud Museum, en het Ferguson Museum zijn leuk en vlakbij. Alles in de omgeving is relaxed. Alleen Juelsminde was echt druk. Wij hebben elke avond een wandeling gemaakt, van 2 tot 4km. Met vaak ook een stukje langs de kust. Het smalle kiezelstrand is ongerept. Je kunt er mooie schelpen en beekjes waar je over moet springen vinden. De tarwevelden en avondzon over het water zijn echt rustgevend. We hebben best wat reeën gezien, en zelfs een das en een vos bij elkaar. De omgeving is landelijk, met daarin stukken en stroken natuur.

Knus, gezellig en ruim voldoende voor de eenvoud die we zoeken.

Zoveel stilte en rust, heerlijk.
