This beautiful, authentic Irish ruralhut dates back to 1888. You do not only rent the cottage but also a piece of land of 16,000 m² with 700 meters of private coastline. The cottage has a living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and three bedrooms. In the cozy living room there is a comfortable sitting area with a fireplace. Next you will find the dining area and the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, fridge, microwave, oven and coffee maker. On the ground floor is a double bedroom. On the first floor there are two more bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has a double bed and two single beds.

This ruralhut is in a magical place 15 miles north of Castletownbere on the Beara Peninsula. Beara is known as one of Ireland's most beautiful parts, with spectacular views over bays, rivers and the Atlantic Ocean. The private grounds surrounding the cottage are adjacent to Kenmare Bay and Derryvegal Lake. The area is suitable for both leisure and sports enthusiasts.
