The house owners adapted this 150 year old house to modern times. The nature house is located in a small village of Marcouray, a town of Marcourt. The landlords converted the house into a cozy family nature house equipped with every comfort for a pleasant stay. All utilities have been modified. There is central heating in all rooms but there is also a fireplace that gives the living room an extra warm feeling. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, cooking stove and many pots and pans so you can cook for everyone without any problems. The living room is furnished with a large lounge area, TV, DVD player, a nice bar and a large dining table. Downstairs there are two bedrooms and upstairs there are two uninterrupted bedrooms. Each for two persons, so in total there is room for eight people. Both bathrooms are fully renovated with a walk-in shower. There are two separate toilets. Downstairs there is a room where you can play a game of darts. There is also a gas barbecue that you can take out with good weather. Because the area was so incredibly beautiful I give an 8. The house, on the other hand, was spacious and large, but very outdated with creaky and crooked floors. Very unfortunate, because the living room is otherwise very cozy, the beds are fine, and the kitchen equipped with more than enough dishes, glasses and pots and pans! Just a shame that the super small dishwasher does not work properly.

Cottage is For Sale, has no natural/green garden, furnishings (especially downstairs) except bathrooms very outdated, bedding clammy and musty smell. Not a clean impression (oven caked, hairs on couch). There was a used towel in bathroom and used bedding on 1 of the beds. Refrigerator did not reach temperature until evening, dishwasher did not wash anything clean and poor WiFi coverage. Very low water pressure. Smoking is allowed downstairs in the house!
Huisje staat Te Koop, heeft geen natuurlijke/groene tuin, inrichting (vooral benedenverdieping) op badkamers na erg verouderd, beddengoed klam en muffe lucht. Geen schone indruk (oven aangekoekt, haren op bank). Er lag een gebruikte handdoek in badkamer en gebruikt beddengoed op 1 van de bedden. De koelkast is pas 's avonds op temperatuur, afwasmachine wast niets schoon en slecht bereik WiFi. Hele lage waterdruk. Er mag beneden in huis worden gerookt!
Quietness is relative: constant sound of pipes in downstairs bedroom, cottage is on a bend and surrounded by a road (not too busy but still) and has no view of green surroundings. No natural/green/quiet garden.
