Nature house in Harkema

This charming nature house is located in a beautiful coulisse landscape, in the Frisian village of Harkema. The cottage is surrounded by a so-called landscape garden. Much attention is paid in the garden of the cottage to the welfare of small animals. For example, different types of nesting boxes are hanging and piles of stones have been placed here and there to serve as hiding places for amphibians. Small predators and birds find their shelter in the many boughs and branch walls. In short: a place where life is good for humans and animals. The cottage itself also offers the necessary comfort. It has a cozy kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. In the living kitchen there is a comfortable sofa, dining area and the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, fridge and freezer, combination microwave, coffee maker and a kettle. In the bedroom there are two single beds. The bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is adjacent to the bedroom.

Whether you like nature or culture: Friesland has both to offer. National Park De Alde Feanen is just 15 kilometers from the cottage. There you can take beautiful, peaceful walks. Still want to seek out the hustle and bustle? Then visit Dokkum, Leeuwarden or Groningen. Three beautiful cities that are definitely worth a visit and are not far from the cottage.
