Nature house in Ruurlo

This nature house is located in a very beautiful and quiet part of the Achterhoek, in the outskirts of Ruurlo, opposite point 69 of the bicycle route network. It is adjacent to a vast forest area and on one hectare of pasture land. There are three terraces with plenty of shade on the southwest. The property is completely independent, so you have plenty of privacy. The nature house consists of a living/bedroom, which contains a bed with trundle bed, a recently renovated kitchen with preservation of authentic elements and a spacious bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The nature house also has room for a crib. This nature house is attached to an original cattle barn, but has been used by the landlords for many years as a stable for their horse. In July and August only whole weeks can be booked.

In the vicinity of the nature house is a lot of forest and meadows, the so-called coulisse landscape. From here you can take lovely walks, go cycling or just relax on the terrace. When it is dark, it is really dark and you can see the stars well. Ruurlo is a nice village in the heart of the Achterhoek with various amenities, such as several supermarkets, bakeries, a bookstore, a world store, a number of eateries and more. You can rent bicycles from the two bicycle dealers in the village if you wish. There is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing area, a maze and a climbing forest. Also, Ruurlo is an eldorado for cycling and hiking enthusiasts. The nature house is within walking distance of Huize Ruurlo castle, in which the Museum More is located. Also the surrounding area (such as Borculo, Vorden, Zutphen and Lochem) offers many tourist possibilities.
