Nature house in Millay

This ruralhut is set in Bois de Velle, in the idyllic south of the Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan. This ruralhut has a beautiful view over the hilly landscape of the Morvan. The ruralhut is set on a terrain of nearly one hectare of land with an orchard and several sheltered seats ensuring your privacy. The hamlet of Bois de Velle is situated at an altitude of almost 500 meters in a wooded area; allowing you to start long or short walks from the ruralhut. A café-restaurant is 2.5 kilometers away in the village of Larochemillay. In the town of Luzy (10 kilometers away) you can find a large Lidle, B1 supermarket, swimming pool, and a weekly market on the Friday morning. The atmospheric ruralhut features a spacious entrance hall with lounge, living room with dining area and lounge area with wood stove, DVD and CD player, and television. The eat-in kitchen is country styled and offers everything you need to prepare your own Burgundian meals. In the kitchen you can also find a washing machine, the tumble dryer can be found in the storage room. The modern bathroom has a shower, toilet, and washbasin. There are two bedrooms upstairs, each with a double bed and a reading corner. The ruralhut also has books, CD’s and DVDs, an ironing board with iron, wood stove, kitchen linen, outdoor shower, outdoor fireplace, barbecue, sunbeds, and guides of the area. The house is suitable for four people. This rate is based on up to two adults and two children. Please notice: If there are more than two adults (18 years and over) an extra €50 will be charged per week for each additional person.

The Parc de Morvan is located in Burgundy, famous for its fine wines and outstanding gastronomy. The wine route which leads you across all the famous domains, is less than an hour’s drive from the house and will introduce you to all the famous Burgundy wines. You are well-received in the gastronomic area in Beaune, Dijon, and Saulieu. You can also find excellent Burgundian restaurants closer to the ruralhut, such as Semelay, Thil sur Arroux, or Autun. The Morvan is an ideal area for rest seekers. The various lakes and rivers are excellent to fish at. Horse riding and cycling can also be done in the immediate area. The great lakes (Lac des Settons and Lac de Pannecière) are roughly 45 minutes away. Some smaller lakes nearby are Saint Didier and Thil sur Arroux, and La Nocle Maulaix. In some of these lakes you can also swim. If you enjoy culture, then visiting Mont Beuvray (archaeological excavations) and the ancient Roman city of Autun with various historical sights, is highly recommended.
