Nature house in Orgnac-sur-Vezere

This spacious and luxurious nature house is beautifully situated with a view over the Vezere valley. The house is set in a quiet area besides an 18th century farm in the department of Corréze. Space, rest, nature, and of course the casual French life. It is the perfect home base for hikes and excursions. This large gîte (135m²) can facilitate up to six people. Cottage 26108 can also be found on this plot. There is a spacious living room with dining area, seating area, television, and a wood burning stove. There is a view of the swimming pool from the living room. A large open kitchen, fully equipped with all kinds of appliances. A spacious bathroom with shower, sink, and second toilet. Two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed (180x200 centimeters) and box spring bed (80x200 centimeters), and the other has two box spring beds (90x200 centimeters) with the sixth sleeping area being a folding bed. Upon request, a baby cot and chair can be provided. There is a terrace with garden and parasol at the front of the cottage. The pool is filled with salt water and works with an electrolysis system.

There are many hiking opportunities in the area, with beautiful hiking routes in Orgnac, Le Saillant, Voutezac, and Vigeois. Canoeing can be done in the Vézère river, to which you can find starting points in La Saillant and Uzerche. The Lac du Causse is a beautifully located leasure lake, which you can also walk around. There are many sights such as beautiful castles, picturesque villages, and beautiful old towns. Collognes la rouge, Turenne, Uzerche, and Donzenac are medieval places in the immediate vicinity. Arnac-Pompadour is known for its beautiful castle and horse racing; during the summer there are regular games on the Hippodrome, in which you could lay down a little wager. The various castles are certainly worth the visit to the castle enthusiast. And then you have the waterfalls of Gimel les Cascades. A beautiful hike going downhill along three waterfalls. Brive la Gaillarde is the big city in the neighborhood which has a very big market every Saturday morning, but of course you can also just shop here. The cozy market in Le Saillant is just 10 minutes away from the cottage. Here you can buy fresh local produce, which you can then prepare on the barbecues on the spot while enjoying a bottle of wine and live music. Enjoy a wonderful evening together with the locals.
