Cozy nature house with old stone walls and modern interior, with stunning views over the Rhône valley and 25 minutes from Valence. The house has been completely restored, completely renewed inside and is part of a farm complex, Les Bergerons, with about 30 hectares of varied, hilly terrain with meadows and chestnut forests. The buildings date from about 1200 - 1400 AD. The complex is free in nature (fields and woods) and neighbors cannot be seen. A small country road leads to it. In addition to the owners' house, there is another nature house for rent in addition to this one. There is a pool of 5 x 10 meters with large terrace that can be used. This is fenced off according to French safety standards. The front of the house and the pool give views of the Balcon du Rhône, the Vercors and on very clear days the Alps. The Dutch owners have bought the other buildings / houses of the complex with it in order to keep the peace, keep the whole together and restore it and thus preserve its history.The living area of the house is 110 square meters. The sitting room has 2 Velux windows and French windows/doors overlooking the valley. Opposite the front door is a private terrace where you can sit outside.

The nearest village is Alboussière at 8 kilometers (10minutes) with bakery, butcher, supermarket, greengrocer, post office, bank, doctor, pharmacy, and a tennis court.25 minutes (just before Valence) is a very large Auchan (open Mon / Sat to 22.Valence is a nice town with several boutiques and restaurants.Trips along the Rhone (Tain l'Hermitage, Tournon, Cruas, Montelimar) or to the wineries are very worthwhile. An hour and a half away are the art cities of Orange, Avignon and to the north Lyon is definitely worth a visit. Visit the Safari of Peaugres or the Gorges of the Ardèche. On the highlands you can make trips to Vernoux, Lamastre,Chalencon and other villages. Good shoes are recommended for hiking around the house (in the meadows and forests).
