Nature house in Comiac

This charming authentic French ruralhut dating back to 1862 is set in a wooded area, along a signposted cycling and hiking route, two kilometers from Comiac. You enter the spacious living room (35m²) going up the stone stairs, with on your left the sofa, fireplace and television, and on the right a large round dining table. The cozy kitchen adjoining the living room is equipped with a fridge, electric kettle, electric oven, microwave, coffee maker, Senseo, toaster, waffle iron, kettle, and orange juice squeezer. Upstairs you have the spacious bedroom (30m²) which is divided into two compartments due to the bathroom with a sink and shower. On one side you have a large double bed, on the other you have two single beds. These can be brought downstairs to the second bedroom in the basement (20m²) in case that is preferred. This bedroom has a separate entrance to the garden. There is also a large writing desk here, as well as a garden set, two relaxation seats, a parasol, and a barbecue.

You are in the middle of the woods and hilly meadows, a walk or bike ride starts at the front door. There is no continuous traffic here, total rest is guaranteed! The region lies between three major nature parks: Parc Naturel Régional de Millevaches, Parc Natural Causses du Quercy, and Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d’Auvergne. That’s why this region has the least amount of light pollution of France (the ‘Triangle noir du Quercy’), so at night you can enjoy a beautiful starry sky. Detailed hiking maps and star charts can be found in the cottage. There is a lot to do and experience in the area. In addition to visiting the countless idyllic villages, you can go swimming, canoeing, horse riding, golfing, on boating trips, visiting caves, ballooning, paragliding, or shopping. There are also animal parks and a water park nearby. The annual Opera Festival is held in August.
