This charming nature house is located just outside the typical Frisian village of Twijzelerheide. It has a living room, open kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and upstairs bedroom. The living room has a cozy sitting area with television and a well-stocked bookcase with cycling and hiking routes and tourist information. The open kitchen has a dining area and is equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. First floor is a bedroom with a double bed (180x200 cm). The cottage has a terrace with fire basket, sun beds and bbq. The rental price includes made bed, kitchen linen, coffee, tea, WiFi.OPTIONS: bike rental (€5 p.day), towels €15,wood fired sauna (€25 p.evening), wood fired hot tub (€35 p.evening). These are in a shielded part of the garden. Subject to availability as we have another cottage. Please note that options are NOT included in the rental price, but are paid directly to the landlord according to use.

The nature house is located in the middle of the coulisse landscape of the Frisian Woods, with nearby National Park the Alde Feanen, Het Lauwersmeer and the Wadden. In the cottage there are several hiking and cycling maps ready for you. It is also highly recommended to visit the Kruidhof in Buitenpost: Europe's largest botanical herb garden. The train and bus station are 2 kilometers away, on occasion we are happy to pick up and drop off guests.
