The bathroom, with a shower, sink, and toilet, is also on the first floor. A fan is provided. Nature and surroundings
The Limousin, the heart of France with its unspoiled nature, offers a wide range of possibilities. It is a diverse and forested region with many clear streams and countless lakes. A dawn hike across the Plateau de Millevaches is breathtaking! Nature lovers will certainly find plenty to enjoy in this part of France; the Limousin has a wealth of flora and fauna to offer and is a sparsely populated region. The peaceful and serene landscape is a tapestry of green pastures and dense chestnut and oak forests. The barrels in which renowned wines from around the world and French cognacs age are often made from beech and oak wood sourced from the Limousin. Characteristic villages with old buildings, constructed from the region’s typical materials, often feature wood-fired ovens, barns, and stables for the reddish-brown Limousin cattle, which are sought after worldwide for their delicious meat.Shops in Bujaleuf (approx. 2 km). In St. Léonard de Noblat (approx. 13 km), you’ll find several supermarkets, banks, a tourist office, a clinic, doctors, etc. Service available in Dutch.

Nice nature cottage, only point is the somewhat low doorway. But only the taller guests suffer from that. :-)
Walter and Griet have turned an old pigsty cum bakery into a beautiful cottage. To the original house they built their own house with great feeling for the architectural style of the region. We were received very hospitably, received vegetables from the vegetable garden, eggs from the chickens. It was a lovely stay overlooking the beautiful garden. In the area you can make great walks, many forests with nice trails.
