A romantic old farmhouse, which has been renovated completely and turned into this ruralhut. It is equipped with all the comforts while retaining the original character. In the middle of the farmland surrounding the ruralhut you can start wonderful walks through the extensive landscapes, hills, and forests. The beautiful lake Etang de Baya and the Vaux are only five minutes away, where you can swim, sail, surf, or just sunbathe and picnic on the south. Visit the many small farm towns, where time seems to have stood still. You could also help the farmer in the village of La Brosse to guide the sheep or cows through the street. The evenings here are truly dark, allowing you to see the beautiful stars above you. Then inside, by the fireplace, you can drink a good glass of Burgundy wine. You can watch the news via the satellite, or a Dutch, Belgian, French, English, German, or Sport program on television. You can cooldown in the private swimming pool (open from June 1st) during a hot summer day and sunbathe on the sunbeds or lounge area.

There are many hiking opportunities in the immediate surroundings, a set of hiking trails for the area can be found in the ruralhut. The beautiful Morvan nature reserve is also nearby, about 25 kilometers away. Shopping can be done in the town of Corbigny, which is ten kilometers away. There you will find the supermarkets (ALDI, ATAC), banks, post office, garages, restaurants, and terraces. On Fridays you can visit the bio market. The regional market can be visited every second Tuesday of the month, which is very cozy. Wine tasting at the mobile bar is also one of the possibilities. Also visit one of the many “vide greniers” (flea markets) in the surrounding villages, perhaps you will come across something nice for a couple of euros. You can make beautiful cycling tours in the surrounding area, especially along the “Canal du Nivernais”, where the course is fairly flat. Therefore, it is also recommended to bring along bicycles.
