A small, modern nature house with a beautiful, spacious terrace, located in no less than three acres of forest that belongs to the house. Ideal for a nice vacation but also for a comfortable quarantine, thanks in part to fiberglass. The house can be seen from the road only with difficulty. You won't find more peace and privacy anywhere. Here you really are away from all the daily hustle and bustle. There should be more of these beautiful spots in the Achterhoek in the Netherlands! This cottage has sleeping accommodation for two people. Due to natural values, pets are not allowed. This also applies to smoking in the house. You can walk in the private forest. There is a pond where frogs and tadpoles occur in the spring. The pond is not suitable for swimming.NB We are in the process of redecorating therefore details in the pictures may not be exactly right. The forest around the house is part of the Ecological Connection Zone with Germany. There are deer, squirrels, martens, foxes, hares and rabbits, but there is no guarantee of seeing them. There are also numerous bird species, including the buzzard, tawny owl, woodpeckers, jay, thrush and nightingale. The forest itself consists of many old oaks and larches as well as spruce, birch, rowan, beech, pine, acacia, sweet chestnut, alder and hazel. In this area of the Achterhoek you will find forests, meadows, bicycle paths and estates, such as the famous Slangenburg. The Montferland with the Berghse Bos (1800 hectares), where you can mountain bike and horseback ride, is 10 kilometers away, so opportunities abound for hiking, cycling and other recreation.
