This unique house is quietly and rurally located in Chabrehez, a hamlet of Les Tailles, Houffalize. The chalet in massive pile construction was built in 2014 on a 3200 m² plot. The house is build with a mixture of wood and Ardennes stone. The detached house has a beautiful view on the meadows, forests and the valley of the Martin Moulin river. On the lower floor of the house there is a wellness area that you can book optionally. The room consists of a Turkish steam bath (Hammam) and a spacious 230 x 230 centimeters sauna. The Hammam is 200 x 175 centimeters and has a double seat (where you can also lay on). The sauna has a powerful sauna oven. There is also a walk-in shower with three showers, a toilet and a dressing room. For horse lovers, there is the possibility to bring horses and rent a horse meadow (which is tensioned). Horses are visible from the house. There is a trampoline for the children, a campfire and a petanque court (bowling alley).

The house is located in the Plateau des Tailles, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the area. Within walking distance you will find Belgium's largest beaver dams. Deer and foxes are regularly observed from the living room of the house. You can often observe beavers in a five to ten minute walk from the house. The owner is a nature guide and also hires kayaks. You can go kayaking on the Ourthe with or without nature guide, and look for water jellyfish, kingfisher birds, beavers and much more. Here you will find many beautiful walking trails, fens and beautiful river valleys. Rabbits and bugs often search for food near the house at night. The rare black stork and the red kite can also be seen in spring. Thousands of crane birds fly over the house every year. In the garden there is a large feeding table where many bird species can be found all year long at short distances.
