Nature house in Winterswijk

This wooden nature house, well insulated, tastefully decorated and equipped with central heating, stands on half an acre of forest land with vistas to nature reserves and farmlands. From the spacious living room (to which both bedrooms lead) patio doors lead to the terrace and garden; garden furniture is amply provided, as well as additional kitchen conveniences such as a grill-oven-microwave combo, juicer, toaster and hand blender. Included in the rental price is the use of bath, bed and kitchen linen and the use of wood for the fireplace and fire basket. So is the wide selection of books, CDs, DVDs, games, puzzles, tourist information and maps. Coffee and tea for on arrival is provided and during your stay you may use the spices, oils and vinegars, salt, pepper and sugar, as well as the cleaning and washing products, toilet rolls, garbage bags, kitchen rolls, candles and matches provided. However, one is expected to reimburse the cost of what one has consumed by replenishing things that are in danger of running out. Please note that the location of the cottage in a quiet area, as well as the type of interior and garden, make it unsuitable for children up to 10 years old.

This nature house is located in Winterswijk Ratum, in the eastern Achterhoek. The woodland garden is teeming with birds and butterflies. In the vicinity stretches a quiet coulisse landscape, where it is beautiful walking and cycling along monumental farms, water mills, lakes, wine estates, cheese farms and so on ... The old Jacob's Church and Museum Villa Mondriaan in the lively town of Winterswijk, the book town of Bredevoort, the Museum of Modern Realism in Gorssel and beautiful old Hanseatic cities such as Deventer and Zutphen are also worth exploring, as is the German city of Münster.
