This spacious and charming nature house is located in peaceful Willerzie, within walking distance of the French border. The former hotel-restaurant has been lovingly transformed into a welcoming vacation home for families and groups. In February 2025, the ground floor received a fresh makeover, giving the house a modern, comfortable feel in a cozy, homey atmosphere. There are five spacious rooms for 15 people and a baby, each with its own bathroom featuring a shower, sink, and toilet. The living area features a sitting area with a smart TV, a wood stove, and a fully equipped open kitchen with a kitchen island, induction cooktop, refrigerator, fridge-freezer combo, dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee maker, and electric kettle. Outside, you can enjoy a large garden with a petanque court, a small playground, a spacious partially covered terrace with a barbecue, and ample parking. Due to its location, cell phone reception is limited, but reliable internet is available via Starlink.

This nature house is an ideal base for those who love peace and quiet, nature, and hiking. From the charming village of Willerzie, you can explore numerous hiking trails through forests and valleys, and past springs, rocks, and ponds. Nearby are the Fagne de l’Abîme nature reserve and the Croix Scaille plateau, on the border with France. The “Ange Gardien” hike near the Coubry reserve in Rienne is also highly recommended for those who prefer shorter hikes or are traveling with children. The region is also ideal for bike rides through the rolling Ardennes landscape, with vast forests, babbling brooks, and picturesque villages. After an active day, you can relax on the patio or play pétanque, while the kids have fun in the new garden area with a playground. The garden is cozy, fully fenced, and offers a pleasant spot to enjoy the sun, fresh air, and tranquility of nature together—perfect for recharging your batteries.
