Nature house in Willerzie

This spacious and charming nature house is located in quiet Willerzie, within walking distance of the French border. The former hotel-restaurant was carefully transformed into a warm vacation home for families and groups. In February 2025 the first floor was given a fresh makeover, so the house now exudes modern comfort in a cozy, homey atmosphere. There are five spacious rooms for 15 people and a baby, each with its own bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The living area has a sitting area with smart TV, a wood stove and a fully equipped open kitchen with kitchen island, induction hob, refrigerator, combi fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee maker and kettle. Outside you enjoy a large garden with petanque court, playground, a spacious partly covered terrace with barbecue and ample parking. Due to its location, there is little cell phone coverage, but reliable internet via Starlink.

This nature house is an ideal base for those who love peace, nature and hiking. From the charming Willerzie you will discover numerous hiking trails through forests, valleys and past sources, rocks and ponds. Nearby are the nature reserve of Fagne de l'Abîme and the plateau of Croix Scaille, on the border with France. The "Ange Gardien" hike at the Coubry reserve in Rienne is also recommended for those who enjoy shorter walks or hiking with children. The region is also ideal for bicycle tours through the rolling Ardennes countryside, with vast forests, babbling brooks and picturesque villages. After an active day you can relax on the terrace or play petanque, while children have fun in the new garden area with playground. The garden is cozy, fully fenced and is a pleasant place to enjoy the sun, fresh air and the peace of nature together - perfect for recharging your batteries.
