It is a former laborer's residence occupied in the early years by two families. The agricultural company where these families were employed still exists and is 300 meters away from the house. There is a living room, kitchen, separate toilet, two bathrooms and six bedrooms. There is also an annex with a lovely sauna and a storage room. In the living room there is a cozy sitting area with TV. Next you will find the authentic kitchen, equipped with all the conveniences. The house has two bathrooms, one with bath, shower, sink and toilet and the other with shower and sink.

The ruralhut is located near the Lauwersmeer National Park. In the Lauwersmeer there are extensive systems of cycling and hiking trails. There are also bird watching huts for birdwatchers. In addition to the Lauwersmeer National Park, there is a unique nature reserve, a short distance from the house: Schiermonnikoog National Park. The port of Lauwersoog is a 20-minute drive away, from which you can take the boat to the island of Schiermonnikoog. Ideal if you want to visit the Wadden Islands. It is an environment for active people; hiking, sailing, canoeing, fishing, cycling, hiking or horse riding, but also for people who like to snuggle up the local culture.
