Enjoy a wonderful vacation in the beautiful Dordogne region. The nature house itself is charming and because of the major renovation in 2014 equipped with all modern conveniences. Lots of privacy with a private pool of 11 x 5 meters and outdoor shower (hot). The grounds have many places to enjoy reading a book or just to be active. Table tennis, badminton, bocce, or walks, whatever you want. Sunbathe on the sun loungers by the pool, drink a nice wine in the evening and barbecue under the large veranda or on the terrace at the back of the house, no one will be bored.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is still just in the Perigord Pourpre and on the edge of a small "hamlet" called Lentignac which is part of the municipality of Sainte Alvère. The more famous places in the area are Le Bugue, Sarlat, Perigueux and Bergerac. The house is quiet but not isolated, but in the immediate vicinity there is much to do, such as visiting caves including gouffre de Proumeyssac, gouffre de Lascaux and gouffre de Rouffignac, or chateaus, such as Castelnaud, Beynac and Milandes (Josephine Baker). There are also the weekly markets, the brocantes and especially the night markets (marché nocturnes) are very cozy and where you can also eat well. Horseback riding and tennis are also possible in the immediate vicinity. For golf lovers, 15 minutes from the house is the most beautiful golf course in the Dordogne, namely La Marterie in Saint Felix de Reillac , Golf in Perigueux and Lolivarie in Saint Germain de Belvès. For families with children there is a fun children's paradise 15 minutes from the house where you can spend a day and also there is a survival park Indian Forest at camping le Mondou one hour from the house. Besides its wines, the area is also known for its truffles.
