Since a caravan is not necessarily beautiful, but convenient, we packed up our 40-year-old caravan. The simple cottage was built around the caravan. No fabric awning, but a wooden version that offers enough space for up to 4 guests. In the front area there is a simple 2-burner stove and a refrigerator. This nature house is located in the camping forest next to the climbing tree. In the cave, the space under our house, you will find the plumbing, washing machine, centrifuge and microwave. Just like the fresh croissants and bread that the baker brings every day. The nature house is also suitable in winter: fully insulated, connected to electricity and equipped with lamps and a kerosene stove. There is a fixed bed with two single mattresses (90x200) in the caravan. In the front part of the wooden frame, the spacious sofa converts into a double bed in no time. The 2500 m² natural lake is located at the bottom of the hill at +/- 150 meters. Camping with a bit of luxury.
Nature and surroundings
Pébru is a hameau (hamlet) in Corrèze with only five houses. As a lover of peace, space and nature, coming here is like coming home. There are many interesting walks to make, several routes are waiting for you, starting from the property. You can swim or fish in the private lake of 2500 m². In Corrèze you will find cattle breeding, agriculture and horticulture. There is hardly any industry and that, in combination with the grand nature, makes it a very nice area to live and vacation. Corrèze is a beautiful province, part of a larger region called Limousin. The nickname of this entire region is therefore the green lung of France. The capital of Corrèze is Tulle, a medium-sized city about 50 kilometers away from Pébru. Owning a car is a must. Cycling is a tough job here, unless you have an Olympic condition. Goulles is eight kilometers (10 minutes by car) away. Here is the grocery/bakery and church. For some time, the landlords have had an extra service for all guests. Twice a week Renee Fumeé comes to cook: smoked salmon, sausages and chicken and also bakes homemade French fries and fries. You certainly don't have to leave it at the price, the average meal costs €6.50.
