cosy and beautifully renovated. However, we were a bit unlucky that it was a bit too chilly outside because the house does have a centralized direction towards the outdoors. This is ideal during nice sunny weather but unfortunately a little less so during some March showers as we experienced now.

cosy en mooi gerenoveerd. We hadden echter beetje pech dat het buiten wat te fris was want het huis is wel gecentraliseerd richting buitengebeuren. Dit is ideaal bij mooi zonnig weer maar helaas een beetje minder bij sommige maartse buien zoals we nu ervaren hebben.

From the welcome by Werner to the tasteful decoration of the cottage, everything makes you feel welcome here. On the newly renovated terrace we enjoyed a drink in the sun after hiking, the wood stove warmed us when it snowed, the bed was lovely and bath and shower took care of our tired muscles. The well-equipped kitchen made it possible for us to cook extensively, there were containers for our dog and he enjoyed all the smells and sounds in the enclosed garden.

Op het net vernieuwde terras genoten we na het wandelen van een drankje in de zon, de houtkachel verwarmde ons toen het ging sneeuwen, het bed lag heerlijk en bad en douche verzorgden onze vermoeide spieren. De goed uitgeruste keuken maakte dat we uitgebreid konden koken.
Voor onze hond waren bakken aanwezig en hij genoot in de afgesloten tuin van alle geuren en geluiden.

Our vacation began sunny, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful new terrace in the enclosed garden. We walked from that garden straight into the forest, where a stream splashed. We saw tracks of deer game and wild boar, heard numerous birds and made many miles in the neighborhood.

Onze vakantie begon zonnig, waardoor we konden genieten op het prachtige nieuwe terras in de afgesloten tuin. We wandelden vanuit die tuin meteen het bos in, waar een stroompje kletterde. We zagen sporen van reewild en everzwijnen, hoorden talloze vogels en maakten vele kilometers in de buurt.

Blackout curtain on window of bathroom is recommended, especially for summer. Wood of the terrace should be renewed. The wood stove is super, especially on colder nights. A shoe brush at the door is also a tip.

Verduisterend gordijn aan raam van badkamer is aan te raden, zeker voor in de zomer. Hout van het terras best vernieuwen. De houtkachel is super, zeker nog bij koudere nachten. Een schoenenveger bij de deur is ook nog een tip.

Beautiful terrace with peace and lots of birds and a direct walking route from the house to the forest. Occasional local farmer passing by with tractor.

Mooi terras met rust en veel vogels en een directe wandelroute van het huis naar het bos. Af en toe een lokale boer die met traktor passeert.
