This beautiful nature house is located in the outskirts of Aalten and has unobstructed views of the meadows where deer hide. Children can enjoy themselves with trampoline, nesting swing, go-karts and a large sandbox. In the summer vacations there is a swimming pool. We have chickens, kittens and goats. There is so much to discover! This nature house has underfloor heating, a kitchen, three bedrooms, a bathroom and a hall. Mosquito nets and air conditioning. Bath and kitchen towels are provided. Bicycles can be stored indoors. There is a Senseo coffee machine. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of towels. Outside cooking is also possible, ask Hetty about it. You can rent a Bogrács and cook outside. You have your own terrace, where you can enjoy cozy evenings outside with the fire bowl. This cottage is fireworks-free. No pets. In our farm shop you will find our homemade jams, sweet and sour. We hope to welcome you in the Mantelpot! Henrie and Hetty
Nature and surroundings
In this yard you can completely relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside and spot deer, hares and pheasants. Various jams and applesauce made from the fruit of the trees are available in the landlord's farm shop (as well as farm eggs). The coulisse landscape around Aalten is very varied. Hills, arable farming, meadows, woodlands and plains: a perfect starting point for beautiful cycling and walking tours. Nearby you will find, among others, the Vennebulten and the Aaltens Goor In the vicinity of Aalten: De Slingeplas, Loohuisbos, Landgoed 't Walfort and the Kloosterbos. In the outlying areas near Winterswijk are the Korenburgerveen, Wooldseveen, Buskersbos, Bekendelle and the Steengroeve. The Vragenderveen is 15 kilometers away. Across the border is a beautiful hiking area, cycling and hiking routes are available from the landlord or at the tourist office. Near Aalten is the book town of Bredevoort, definitely worth a visit. The Achterhoek has a lot to offer.
