Nature house in Lochem

This wooden ruralhut is located within the urban area in a generous English garden with old fruit trees, flowers, a vegetable garden and lawns. It is an ideal base for rest seekers and nature and culture enthusiasts. The old town is about 1,5 kilometer away. Supermarkets and shops are all nearby. The house has a cozy and characteristic living room with a cozy kitchen. The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge and freezer, oven, microwave, nespresso machine and kettle. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and a sink. On the first floor you will find a bedroom for two persons and an extra bed on the landing. The house is heated centrally. There is no TV, but the house owners offer you a radio and good working WiFi. Outside is a spacious terrace with nice garden views. There is an opportunity to enjoy the starry sky on the terrace. You can also enjoy a delicious barbecue or sit by the fire pit in the evening. In the garden near the ruralhut is a so-called Canadian "barrel" sauna: a large round barrel on its side. This is heated with a wood stove. The sauna is available for an extra fee. The distance to the landlord's house is about 30 meters.

The house is surrounded by lots of greenery and is located in a quiet area on the west side of Lochem. Across the road you will find a natural garden of the Institute for Natural Education, free of charge. The municipality of Lochem offers a lot of surprises. The municipality of Lochem is the municipality with the highest estate density of the Netherlands. Nature in this area is very varied. It ranges from couliss landscapes, rivers (Berkel and IJssel), forests, heath (Gorsselse Hei) to hills (Lochemse Mountain and Kalenberg). It is a fantastic setting for walking and cycling trips. For garden lovers, there are several beautiful gardens in the area such as the "Wiersse" in Vorden, "Verwolde" in Laren and several gardens in Gorssel.
