In a rural, wooded area in the Achterhoek stands this former Sunday school. This romantic monument from 1924 is now a pleasant and spacious nature house, suitable for summer and winter. Originally it had two classrooms, now a spacious living room and dining kitchen. The sitting area has comfortable furniture and the modern kitchen is fully equipped. Upstairs, in the two cozy bedrooms, there are five hotel-quality beds. In the third small room there is a sixth bed. A luxurious bathroom with spacious walk-in shower completes the comfort. For small children there is a high chair, stair gate and crib. At the rear is a spacious terrace, for children the forest is a wonderful playground. There are two private parking spaces and a shed for storing bicycles, two bikes are at your disposal. The house is off gas with a heat pump. There is also own electricity through a post-co-box of solar panels on a large roof nearby.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is completely detached, with beautiful views over the meadows and private forest. This former school is in a picture-perfect location on the corner of two rural roads; a 60-kilometer road with one lane and two red bicycle lanes and a narrow rural road. Explore the border area with Germany, the beautiful coulisse landscape is very varied. Hills, arable farming, meadows, vineyards, woodlands and plains: a perfect starting point for beautiful cycling and hiking tours. Both the bicycle route network and the hiking route network run directly past this nature house. Near Aalten is the book town of Bredevoort. This particular town is also highly recommended for a visit.
