Nature house in Ooij

Do you want to enjoy the beautiful Dutch nature and tranquility? This nature house meets these requirements and more! The house is divided into a studio which means that the living room, kitchen and bedroom are all in the same room. There is a double sofa bed and a large (work) table with unobstructed views of the garden. You have the personal disposal of a portion of this including the terrace at the pond. The house has two electric hotplates, fridge, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. A wood stove is also available. A small staircase leads you to the vide where there is a double bed, which is made for you. The bathroom is equipped with shower, toilet and a small sink.

The site has been largely purchased by the Gelders Landscape, which received the status of protected nature area a few years ago. The old chimney is an industrial monument and is recently restored. The House is located outside, with direct access to the sandy beaches of the Waal river. From the Vlietberg to far into the Reichswald, beautiful (forest) walks can be made. For bird lovers, the Ooijpolder is a popular area. The beaver also feels at home here, as well as the fox and other little wildlife.
