This nature house is on the estate of a rustic 1850s French farmhouse. Beautifully situated on a hill, at the end of a country road. From the cottage you have a beautiful view over the rolling countryside. Because of the stone walls, the cottage has a pleasant indoor climate, even during the hot summer days. The cottage has a spacious living room with an open kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, fridge and freezer, oven and coffee maker. There is a bedroom for two persons and a children's bedroom with a bunk bed of three single beds. There is also a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and a washing machine. Nature houses 25395, 25396 and 25393 are located on the same property.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located near the village of Vernusse in the extreme south of the northernmost department of the Auvergne: the Allier, just above the department of the Puy-de-Dôme. Here begins the Massif Central and to the south comes more and more relief. You can take advantage of what both departments have to offer from Vernusse. In the immediate vicinity you can hike and bike to your heart's content. The natural swimming pond on the camping site guarantees a refreshing dip during the hot summer days. In high season activities are offered every day such as (children's) yoga, Welsh pony care, cuddling, walking and riding. Once a week there is a guided canoe trip in the nature reserve of the Allier. Several times a week you can join the table d'hôtes: everything fresh and homemade with local products and as much as possible vegetables from our own garden.

De warmte en hartelijke gastvrijheid van Mariken, Ron en Nicolas is echt fantastisch. Geen moeite teveel. Zelfs toen we last hadden van clustervliegen, was dat zo opgelost. Het huisje is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Je voelt je direct thuis.
Het was al begin november en het stormde en regende. Gelukkig was de houtkachel makkelijk te bedienen en er is altijd voldoende hout. En anders maken ze het voor je.
De bedden zijn comfortabel, de douche ruim en lekker heet water. In de keuken vindt je alles wat je nodig hebt.
We konden genieten van ons 'eigen' zitje' naast het huis: uit de wind en een perfecte plek om je even buiten terug te trekken. We kwamen er voor onze rust en dat hebben we er ook gevonden.
Mochten ze Pizza-avond houden... meedoen! Een echte aanrader.
Als we in de buurt zijn, zouden we hier zo weer willen verblijven.Het huisje staat in een prachtig landschap met mooie vergezichten. Je zit echt middenin de natuur. De paarden en pony's lopen los rond en dat geeft een heel vredig beeld. Je hebt heel veel ruimte om je heen.

Op een heuvel gelegen ruim vakantiehuis met voldoende, sobere faciliteiten. Levendige, leuke omgeving, met op het erf onder meer loslopende paarden.
Erg rustige, landelijke omgeving, tamelijk heuvelachtig, met weiden en bossen.
