Come enjoy the wood-fired hot tub outside or the hot tub inside! Our chalet has 3 bedrooms, spread over 2 floors. Please note: Short, steep stairs, via a lockable hatch, from the room with bunk beds to the room downstairs. We offer you all the comforts of home including dishwasher, freezer, combi oven, bbq, washer & dryer. And a kicker table, games, books, comics & a DVD collection for your entertainment. The chalet has central heating. In winter we provide a pleasantly warm arrival. On request we provide baby equipment & towels. Wood is always available. The chalet is located along with other cottages in a cul-de-sac. At the back runs a through road, which can be busier during the day in summer. There are 2 parking spaces and a secure bike shed. For your information, camera surveillance films the parking & entrance door garden. Deposit payable in advance via bank transfer.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located in the Parc naturel de deux Ourthes, near the High Fens and the border with Luxembourg and Germany. Cross the street and you are on the property of Lac de Cherapont. Here you can swim in the large lake or just relax on the beach. There are also a fishing pond and petanque courts and you can go there for a drink or a meal. Several wonderful hiking and mountain biking trails also start from here. Book an exciting activity such as kayaking or altitude trail, rent a mountain bike or explore the barefoot trail. Visit breweries such as Chouffe, Lupulus, Comte du Hener & Oster or one of the numerous war museums. When it's raining you can visit the Action Center and in winter the ski and cross-country ski slopes. A day trip to historic Trier or for a walk through the Teufelsschlucht to the suspension bridge of Irrel is also a possibility.
