Would you like to stay in a typical Algarvian farmhouse from 1861? Then this nature house is for you! The cottage (semi-detached) with spacious pool is surrounded by a two-hectare estate with olive, fig and almond trees. On the ground floor you will find the living room, kitchen and bathroom. In the cozy living room there is a comfortable sitting area with a wood stove. The dining room and kitchen are connected to the living room. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, fridge-freezer and coffee maker. The spacious bathroom has a toilet, bidet, "walk-in" shower and a sink. On the first floor is the bedroom with a double bed. From the bedroom you walk onto the large roof terrace. From the terrace you have a panoramic view, with the sea in the distance. Outside there is a covered terrace with dining table and a covered "siesta bed". The landlady lives in the other part of the property throughout the year. Guests are assured of a high degree of privacy; the pool is for guests only and is not shared with third parties. Upon arrival, all guests will find a bottle of olive oil, pressed from only the olives harvested on the property.

The cottage is located 10 kilometers away from several beautiful beaches and the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. Ria Formosa is one of the most important marshlands in the world, because of its nature and especially because of the water birds that live there. Within Europe, this area is even indicated as an Important Bird Area. In fact, over 200 bird species live in the park. The nearest beaches are part of Ria Formosa and can only be reached by a short boat trip or a 'mini-train' ride. Beautiful walks can be made from the house and the immediate surroundings, especially in the (early) spring and autumn.
