This nature house is located on an authentic, large farm where you can taste the real Achterhoek atmosphere. You look out over the meadows, perhaps spot a falcon or pheasant. What could be more delightful in the summer than sitting by the outdoor fireplace or fire pit after a long walk in nature or having a nice barbecue on your terrace? The children can romp around here. In the summer, our swimming pool is ready. In the farm shop you will find jams and eggs from the chickens. That is also possible! We have a Weber or Brogracs pan. Nice cooking outside! Air conditioning is available. When you get another person to sleep on the spot we ask € 85 p.p.pn. (If there is possibility) There are playgrounds for the youngest, vineyards and castles.Come and discover the pearls of the Achterhoek! No pets. See you soon!
Nature and surroundings
The scenic landscape around Aalten is very varied. Hills, arable farming, meadows, woodlands and plains: a perfect starting point for beautiful cycling and walking tours. There are several routes waiting for you. Outside you will find a large vegetable garden, often you can use the surplus of vegetables for a small fee. This also applies to free-range eggs. Jams and applesauce from the fruit of the trees are available in the landlords' farm shop. In the vicinity you will find, among other things, nature reserve the Vennebulten, the Aaltens Goor and a nice gnome forest for the little ones. In the vicinity of Aalten: De Slingeplas, Loohuisbos, Landgoed 't Walfort, the Kloosterbos and Zwanenbroek. In the outlying areas near Winterswijk are the Korenburgerveen, the Wooldseveen, Buskersbos, Bekendelle and the Steengroeve. The Vragenderveen is 15 kilometers away. Across the border is a beautiful hiking area, various cycling and hiking routes are available from the landlord or at the tourist office. Near Aalten is the book town of Bredevoort, definitely a must visit. The Achterhoek has plenty to offer.
