Nature house in Waldeck

Welcome to this nature house in Waldeck, on the edge of the Sauerland. In our house there are 2 independent apartments. The house dates from 1827, but has been completely renovated. You rent the spacious upstairs apartment. The apartment has a spacious high living room with a connecting modern open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. You have an induction hob, fridge and freezer, oven, microwave and a coffee maker. In the living room there are three leather sofas, a dining area, a dresser with crockery and a Smart TV. From the living room you have a beautiful view of Lake Edersee through the large windows. There are five spacious bedrooms. There are also two luxury bathrooms, equipped with two sinks, a toilet and a shower. In front of the garage is a terrace with a picnic table. From this terrace the view is beautiful. For large groups up to 13 people you can book both apartments.

Hiking enthusiasts beware! The village of Waldeck has a historical route that tells you about its history. There are also several hiking trails from the cottage that take you to beautiful places around Lake Edersee and the village. You are close to the Kellerwald nature park. A walk to Waldeck Castle is definitely recommended. Princess Emma spent an important part of her childhood at this beautifully renovated castle. The castle can also be reached by a mini cable car from the lake. Winter sports resorts such as Winterberg and Willingen are a 30-minute drive away. Towns like Korbach and Fritzlar are also well worth a visit.
